Terms of Service

1. Service description

Petrait ("we", "us", "our") provides a service that uses artificial intelligence to generate custom portrait artwork of your dog based on a photo you upload, in a style you select. Generated artwork can be downloaded digitally or ordered as a framed print, which we produce and ship through our printing partners.

2. Payment terms

All prices on Petrait are listed and charged in Swedish kronor (SEK). Payment is collected at the time you place an order, before production or fulfillment begins. We use Stripe to process payments securely; we do not store your card details ourselves.

3. Refund policy

If a framed print arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, you may request a refund or replacement within 14 days of delivery. See our Shipping & Returns page for how to request one.

Because AI-generated results are inherently subjective and vary based on the photo and style you choose, we do not offer refunds for dissatisfaction with the digital generation result itself. We encourage you to preview your generated portrait before adding it to your cart.

4. Intellectual property

You retain all rights to the photos you upload. By uploading a photo, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it, and you grant Petrait a limited license to process that photo solely to generate your portrait and fulfill your order.

Petrait retains all rights to the underlying AI generation process, models, prompts, and technology used to create your portrait. This does not restrict your ability to use, print, or share the specific portrait image generated for your order.

5. Limitation of liability

Petrait is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including variations in AI-generated output. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

6. Governing law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Petrait will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Swedish courts.
